I am feeling very thankful this Thanksgiving. It was wonderful to share yet another Thanksgiving with my grandparents. I am trying to savor each one, as I realize that soon my grandmother will find it overwhelming to host 30+ people every holiday. I also thank God that both of my uncles survived their surgeries/ accidents and were able to share another holiday with us. Seeing my adorable boys waving banners and singing "This is the Day" at church was such a delight. I also loved seeing my two pilgrims and two Indians. It will be a sad day when my boys outgrow costumes!
Having S join our family has added such a new dimension to our lives and makes me appreciate the many things that God has provided. Today, we hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for some of our Chin friends. Despite the language barrier, I think that they enjoyed trying out some American Thanksgiving food. Only 1 taker on the cranberries! I did get a request for pumpkin pie, which D and I don't like at all, so I had to tell them to try it at a different American home. I am posting this picture even thought it is not great because D only took one of the whole table.
