Science Experiments

I was never much of a science fan when I was in school, but I don't remember doing very many fun experiments when I was younger. Of course, I remember the biology labs and the chemistry experiments, but the fun elementary experiments were few and far between. So, it is a new experience for me to have a houseful of children who just love science and eagerly await their experiment days - every fourth day. Here is a picture of one of their experiments from yesterday where they tested their lung capacity. Needless to say, the water didn't stay in the bowl! It sure would be nice to live somewhere warm sometimes.

I think this is fascinating! I'm essentially a science teacher now ("robotics"), and love designing scenarios where kids can discover the power of God's creation, and how He empowered us to be creators as well. How is home-schooling? How do the students compare to WCS? (haha) Do you ever miss taking attendance, and 150 different kids per day, and... ninth graders?
